The SDS100 is silent. When I stop the SDS100 on the exact same frequency that the TRX-1 is decoding, programmed as a DMR freq., it doesn't even make a hit on the signal bar. I noticed the SDS100 has a dedicated battery pack so that is a buzzkill compared to AA batteries I'm used to. I will be required to purchase an extra battery and charger. I'm not totally against home unit because I generally only listen in the home but if the sound quality is good on the SDS100 and they generally same features I'd do mobile.. Size 32 women

On various postings I find references to problems with the SDS100 where it stopped working, receiving, etc. Many of these were posted when the unit first hit the market and referenced a " cold solde r" issue.I noticed the SDS100 has a dedicated battery pack so that is a buzzkill compared to AA batteries I'm used to. I will be required to purchase an extra battery and charger. I'm not totally against home unit because I generally only listen in the home but if the sound quality is good on the SDS100 and they generally same features I'd do mobile.Jun 16, 2018 · Exosphere. If your computer can't supply 1A minimum, you need to use a powered hub. That's the 100's voltage display reading when disconnected. Look at the specs for the bottom one, that comes with a cable. It's 5 volts at 3.4 amps. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. If you type a lower-case ASCII charactor from a limited set (dhlmoqrwz), several lines of formatted ASCII numbers are sent from the scanner. This looks like engineering debugging output rather than a customer feature. The sub-processor appears to be a NXP LPC4370.
